I have always had a love for photography. As a child it was something I could do with my dad on the weekends. Learning to use his old Fujica 35mm gave us a common interest. Due to dad's colorblindness I gained a huge appreciation for black and white photography. The beauty of black and white leaves a lasting impression, but also gives its audience a sense of imagination.

It was when our son Tyler was born, that my love of photography turned into a passion. He gave me a reason to blow the dust off my old Nikon SLR and upgrade to digital. For the first couple of years it was all about creating art for our home. The more friends came over the more interest I stirred up and word-of-mouth advertising began.

I started photographing children but as families have grown and changed, opportunities have as well. Every life event is precious from weddings, the welcoming of a new baby, to toddlers and young adults. I cherish every experience.
