i do. | Curtis & Sarah

Sunday afternoon was gorgeous. The weather, the bride, family, and friends…all gorgeous. Curtis and Sarah said their vows at GVSU’s Cook-DeWitt Chapel that afternoon. I carried tissue knowing this ceremony would be a tear-jerker. I was right. After the ceremony we headed to Ada for some quick pictures and then we were off to Thornapple Daily Grill…yum! TDG opened their doors just for the reception. How fabulous is that?! After dinner we totally rocked the strobes in the wine cellar. As I assisted, from tabletop view, I grabbed a couple shots myself. How could I resist?! I loved how simple and intimate the day was. The perfect way to relax with the people who mean the most.

During their engagement session one request was a shot of the bottom halves of their body. Something quirky, but totally understandable. It’s where they currently are. No question, it was the way to end their wedding day as well. I hope you two were able to find time for each other this past week as you jumped right back into life. It was an absolute pleasure. Thank you for making us feel like family. :smooch:

Curtis - You were the BEST Leda! Thanks for everything. I can’t wait for the next time pictures are needed. Baby anyone?

PS Thanks for pointing out my little Freudian slip :)
