To say the 2009 holiday season was fun would be an understatement. My fabulous clients pay me to be entertained by their kids….LOVE! It seriously can’t get any better! There is always laughter followed by tears and every emotion in between. Besides the holidays, we tossed in a couple of one-year birthdays. One is fun. =) Then there was the session that Taylor (age 3) picked up my camera while I was messing with her sister…attempting to get Carly to sit. Running is more fun than sitting right? Taylor rocked.it.out grabbing the capture, below, with her focus on Carly’s shoe. Taylor will be shooting with me this coming season. She small enough to fit in my bag, and will fly stealth shooting low.
WARNING: below you will experience extreme cuteness, nekkid booty, twins, dinosaur tears, new teeth, and a rejected cupcake.

My nephew, Devin, offered up his services to test a new blogging feature. Okay, truth is he couldn’t say no. *giggle* D is on here as a option with music for 2010. I’d love to get input on quality, if you waited too long, if it never played. So please, let me know how this comes across or if you have ideas for improvement….and improvement does not mean the music, because the toddler in me is totally rockin it out to this song!
Kim - Started a little slow but that could be my browser.... played good though! music & slideshow came through :)
Amy Heimbuch - I think it's great! All of it - the photos, the song, Devin and the feature! It loaded super fast for me too.
btw - that is DEFINITELY Jason's kid! (you weren't lyin' about him being a chunk either!) Cute!

Stephanie and Rob could have not picked a more winter-esk day. Perfect little snowflakes floating out of the sky. Not too terribly cold, although the ladies did a great job staying close. One thing that I loved about their day is the amount of hugs. Not just the families, but the friends too…or maybe they were stealing heat. =) Kuyper College is “home” for these two. To my past Kuyper brides, Stephanie should be a very familiar face. Rob, his area was in Walters Dining Room. There were more memories adding to existing memories with in these walls on their wedding day. Stephanie and Rob, thank you so much for allowing me the experience of your wedding day. I wish you nothing but the very best!
Jim and Allison’s engagement session was on one of those chilly evenings when the sun was still out and the town of Grand Haven was quiet. Completely game for anything, we walked, talked, and took a few pictures. It really didn’t even feel like a session at all….well, till I got home and realized I took a couple hundred pictures! It was wonderful meeting you Jim, and it was great getting to know you both! Can’t wait for warmer weather!
