Meet Nolan, for those of you who frequent you’ll remember him from here, but if you’re meeting him for the first time (this is just a warning) you’re going to come back again and again to see how this little man has grown. Seriously cute, Nolan definitely takes after his parents.

What did I do when a client called, said they have family coming in from CO for the holidays, and (if you know my studio space…EEK!) requests indoor family photos? Make a call to a friend and fellow photog. Meet the Jacobs family. My man Brayden comes to see me on a regular basis…he brings along his mom and day too (BONUS!), but the opportunity to meet his entire family was an absolute pleasure.

When meeting up with Jake and Kylee for their esession I found out that Jake had his eyes on Kylee in high school, yet never acted on it, then graduated ahead of her. He told himself that if he ran into her again that he wouldn’t pass up that opportunity. I love LOVE stories. Now living in Montana, they are planning their destination wedding close to home at the lake shore…one I’m very much excited for! 
And seriously, only the crazy play on the beach in December. *giggle*
Giving Thanks, part II. Nolan at two weeks old celebrated Thanksgiving with his family. Not knowing when exactly deployment would be, only soon, family pictures were a must. Nolan, as happy as can be was stripped down and cuddled into dad’s arms. Tears all around.
Jon was deployed to Iraq in January.
Nolan, your daddy is the bomb. You and your momma are pretty special too.
Fall color, sunshine, and warmer days. This day, to be exact was their day to give thanks. This family welcomed two new members in 2009. Paddy who married Paul and also Jon and Becky who welcomed Nolan. Saturday was 62 degrees, very warm for mid November. When I arrived (both of my kids in tow) to their home the smell of Thanksgiving was in the air. The food. The laughter. This family is truly amazing… my kids and I have claimed them “mine.”
